| KUDOS TO NORTH HIGH SHOALS CITIZENS Emergency Response Hero – Lt. Frank Brooks for rescuing a choking victim in front of the High Shoals Elementary School. High School Graduates Bryana Carlson Cheyenne Candalario ( graduated with 4-H awards and a $1,000 4-H scholarship - Lila Walsh – (Governor’s Honors Program in German) Justin Meeler (Herschel and Thelma Lovern’s grandson) – congratulations to all! College Graduate Ashley Kraeling graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. She started her 4 week internship in Saxby Chamblis office. Fire Department - The following members of the High Shoals Fire Department (Station 6) were honored at the Fire Fighters’ Appreciation Dinner on May 15, 2010: Christine Tatum and Nicholas Linn (completed 250 hours of training time). New First Responders – Don Piela and Neil Boss (completed 80 hours additional training for this position). Debra Brown was recognized for 15 years service as a Fire Fighter and First Responder. |
